Luna Mini Bars

luna mini bars
Peanut butter, caramel, chocolate….sounds yumm, huh?  I love all of these flavors, don’t you?  That’s why I also love Luna Mini Bars, the Luna bar that is about half the size of the regular, original Luna bar but that is equally as delicious.  I love products that are not super-sized because they help me to better control portion size and calorie content while still allowing me to indulge my sweet tooth from time to time. And I don’t have to feel guilty later on.

Luna Mini Bars are available in two different variety packs that have three individual flavors per eighteen bar box.  The first yummy option is Luna Minis Nutz Over Chocolate, Caramel Nut Brownie, and S’mores.  The other decadent option is Lemon Zest, Peanut Butter Cookie, and White Chocolate Macadamia.  I have tried all six flavors and both variety pack options and I can tell you that these bars are so good, it’s almost sinful.

These bars are an excellent source of iron, folic acid, and calcium.  They are also rich in the antioxidants A, C, and E.  Each bar provides 3 grams of fiber and 3-4 grams of protein.  And although these are marketed as the “whole nutrition bar for women”, from my experience, you don’t have to be a woman to enjoy them!

Each yummy Luna Mini Bar has only 80 little calories (2 weight watchers points plus points), and is made from 70% organic ingredients.  I’ve written before on Luna products in the past, including Luna Tea Cakes and the full-size Luna White Chocolate Macadamia Bar, which is, by the way, one of my favorites.  I'm also planning a future post on a new Luna flavor that just came out that I absolutely love, so stay tuned for that!

Enjoy!
Juliet

No, you are right. That was a typo. Apologies. The right # was used to calculate the points plus points, though.

I love Lunas! I haven't come across the minis yet--I'll have to look!
