Some Yummy Nuts

everybody's nuts, low calorie pistachiosSo, the other day, my husband and I were at Jamba Juice (a great smoothie place we frequent on the weekends ), and I looked down to see this cute little package of salt and pepper flavored pistachios. Now, I usually shy away from packages of nuts, since they often contain more than 500 calories (I saw some at Starbucks today with more than 600 calories!!), but, I decided to pick up the package nonetheless.

I then saw that the whole package only had 120 calories (3 WW points for the entire bag, which is a great point value for a serving of nuts), which excited me, since I absolutely *love* nuts. So, I bought them and ate a few while I waited for my smoothie. They were delicious! They were seasoned perfectly, the shells caused me to eat them pretty slowly, and by the time I got through the package (long after my smoothie arrived), I was actually feeling pretty full (and my husband ate a few, so I didn't even get to eat all of them in the package). Since then, I've been hooked! In fact, a week later, I stopped off at Jamba Juice just to buy a package, and I didn't even bother to get a smoothie.

These yummy little pistachios make for an awesome afternoon snack. They are healthy, filling, fun to eat, and tasty! I noticed that the serving size on the bigger packages (like the ones available at the Yummy Diet Food Amazon Store), are a bit bigger than the package they sell at Jamba Juice, which I think is the perfect size, so watch out to make sure you are eating the serving you think you are.

These yummy little pistachios come in four different flavors: "Roasted and Salted," "European Roast," "Salt and Pepper" (my personal favorite), and "Roasted No Salt." None of the flavors have any added oils or artifical ingredients. If you don't have a Jamba Juice nearby, or don't want to buy these nuts online, you can check out the Everybody's Nuts site (click on "Where to Get 'Em") to see where they are available near you. If you like nuts, then I know you will love these pistachios!
